NTDC is a Putties Limited Company. It links power generation units and toad centers dotting the entire country, thus creating one of the largest contiguous grids systems of the \\ortd. It is responsible foe purchasing the power from hydroelectric stations located in the north. thermal units m public and private sectors, installed mostly in the central and southern regions ol the country and sell to nine distributions companies. The large power transportation network * composed of transmission lines and grade  stations of 500 KV and 220 KV voltage capacities. The Company is also responsible for construction, operation and maintenance of infrastructure facilities through out the Country.


Appbcatons are invited from young engineers for the post of Junior Engineer (BPS-17) on contract baas (Initially for One Year which may be declared regular on completion of one year satisfactory service). Eligibility

i) B.E/B.Sc Engineering (Electronic/Electrical/Telecom( Division/2.5 or above CGPA)  from a HEC recognized


21-33 years. Citizen of Pakistan, d Having valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration number.

4. Pay Package:

a. BPS-17 ♦ 4-Advance Increments ♦ Special Allowance Rs. 10.000

MIT to Offer Free Online Course

World famous Massachusetts Institute of Technology or MIT has now announced the launch of an online course, which won’t only be free but will be accessible for anyone with internet availability.
Evaluation for this course will be arranged online while MIT will offer certificates for the candidates who will successfully complete the course.
Starting this March, an Electronics course offered online will be part of a pilot programme for online education, namely MITx with an aim to offer higher education to seekers throughout the world.
MITx will be interactive online course that will:

• organize and present course material to enable students to learn at their own pace
• feature interactivity, online laboratories and student-to-student communication
• allow for the individual assessment of any student’s work and allow students who demonstrate their mastery of subjects to earn a certificate of completion awarded by MITx
• operate on an open-source, scalable software infrastructure in order to make it continuously improving and readily available to other educational institutions.

Upon successful completion of this course, MIT plans to eventually host a virtual community of millions of learners around the world with more courses to be included in MITx project.
MIT says that it will make the MITx open learning software available free of cost.
